GP Surgery

Staunton surgery is a rural practice with approximately 6800 registered patients. This includes 1400 students of Hartpury College. The practice team consists of two partners, two salaried GPs, an advanced nurse practitioner and a clinical pharmacist. The practice is a training practice and we regularly have trainee doctors at the surgery. We are also a dispensing practice and offer a delivery service for our housebound patients. The clinicians are fully supported by management, reception and dispensary teams.

The present surgery was built in 1981 and extended in 1986, 1997 and 2007. In 2018 the surgery was reconfigured to increase the number of consulting rooms to eight. We also have a nursing suite of three treatment rooms.

The practice provides a full range of general medicine, maternity, contraceptive and children’s services. We aim to provide excellent healthcare to our local community.
